Mac Business Network Installation
This service is suitable for any business looking to install a network into their premises or to extend their existing network.
At MacWarehouse we have made designing, planning and implementing your physical network infrastructure simple and painless. Our network installation package includes Mac installation along with professional cabling to incorporate all you need to get your network up and running and allows businesses to budget their network installations with greater accuracy.
With your new network you can look forward to:
- Installation of a new peer-to-peer network
- Installation of a new client-server network (excluding server - available at extra cost)
- Installation includes CAT5e cabling
- Macs and printers connected and configured
- 12 months dedicated telephone support
We guarantee completion within 5 working days and will install within normal working hours 9am - 5pm.
What is included:
- Installation of CAT5e cabling
- Design, planning and implementation
- Installation of a 12 or 24 point patch panel (Depending on the number of points purchased)
- 3 Metre fly leads per point
- 1/2 Metre patch lead per point
- Unpacking, checking and installation of your new Mac or Macs
- Start-up of the Mac and boot to OS X
- Test of Mac's functions
- Installation and configuration of the Macs
- Connection to a Macintosh / Microsoft Network
- Set up and connection of a printer
- Demonstration of the Mac, supplied software and network functionality
- Set up of file and print sharing on a peer-to-peer network only
- Set up of shared file area on a peer-to-peer network only
- Set-up of internet connection peer-to-peer network only (Client to supply ISP details)
- Configure Safari and Mail programs on Macs (Client to supply ISP details)
- Telephone access to a team of expert Apple technicians
- Fixed price per network station
- Install within normal working hours 9am - 5pm
- Guaranteed completion within 5 working days
What is excluded:
- No electrical cabling will be undertaken
- Any grade of listed building
- Any form of Diamond drilling
- Prices are based on installation within UK mainland only
- Prices are based on outlets emanating from one central point
- Prices are based on unrestricted access on site during the installation and waiting time would be charged at normal rates
- No external cabling
- All Server hardware and operating systems
- Installation or configuration of software other than pre installed or installed by us at the time of installation
- Connection to networks other than Macintosh / Microsoft
- Connection of existing peripherals or other equipment other than a sole printer or print server
- Transfer of software from the network or legacy Macs
- Removal of packaging
- Installation of any upgrades
- The client must provide their own ISP and telephony infrastructure
- The client must ensure that any Macs setup under this service have an appropriate network card
- An on-site engineer visit to repair hardware or resolve complex network issues (Available at extra cost)
