The P1266 video-projector is an ideal projection tool for both SMB professionals and educational facilities looking for a reliable portable projector with high display performance.

Building on the innovations introduced with ColorBoost, Acer developed ColorBoost II, an enhancement technology that offers improvements and presents ultra-vivid images in brilliant colors. Combining a 6 color-wheel design, a powerful image processor and the advanced Lamp Illumination technology, ColorBoost II delivers a level of color performance with brilliant colors and high contrast ratio. The image processor uses Acer Best Color Tracking technology to improve image gradation, enriching darkest details, and optimize color temperature, thus displaying more natural colors. Input signal consistency ensures optimized performance for all content, whereas HSG (Hue Saturation Gain) color tuning tweaks main colors in order to achieve more natural skin tones. Acer's proprietary lamp waveform design optimizes multimedia performance in bright environments.

The P1266 projector also features Acer EcoProjection, an environment friendly management solution that reduces power consumption by up to 50% in standby mode. If there isn't any input signal for 5 minutes, the projector automatically enters ECO mode, thus reducing power consumption up to 20%. Also featured in the Acer EcoProjection suite is Acer ePower Management for customized power-saving configurations.

In addition, the P1266 is provided with Acer SmartFormat technology, a multi-format support technology that enables instant projection regardless of output display resolution, thus avoiding signal not supported issues and the need to change the resolution of the notebook.
